Our mission simply stated, is to bring environmental accountability into every household and every business entity around the world.
Premise:
Solving the world's pollution problems at times seems like such an immense undertaking that it's hard to find a good place to start. Earth Mom starts by identifying several simple measures that can be easily undertaken by informed global citizens and offering them the tools needed to confront and eliminate the many obstacles to our success.
Our Plan:
Step 1: Is to ask every new member to assume personal responsibility within their own households to lessen and eliminate their impact on the environment. Toward that end we offer unlimited education, daily tips and inspiration to help members hold themselves to a higher environmental standard.
Step 2: Is to ask every business entity on the globe to post their company environmental commitment policy on their their website with a recognizable link from their front page for anyone to easily locate and view, then to live up to their policy. Earth Mom member companies are welcome to use our Earth Mom social media icon which helps members quickly recognize them as a participating member being held to certain standards. Non-member companies are welcome to our special "G or R - Rating" icons free of charge, or we encourage them to design their own.
We feel the simple act of generating, reviewing and posting an environmental compliance link will in and of itself, make a startling difference in how companies approach their environmental responsibilities as more and more businesses adopt this measure. It's easy, it's painless and it's a first step for companies to demonstrate their clear environmental commitment to their patrons.
The Reward:
Every complaint business will have space available on our website to explain their ongoing efforts to our thousands and soon millions of new members who will happily contemplate the purchase of their products over those of their non-compliant competitors.
Our Appeal:
We appeal to responsible, caring, earthly inhabitants who seek simple ways to integrate Eco-Friendly practices into their everyday lives. We heartily welcome members from all walks of life, religions, countries,
political affiliations, sexual orientation, etc., each who share a mature,
responsible outlook when it comes to the preservation of our environment. To
join we ask that you respect our passive ways, share our values and openly embrace the
full spectrum of members who wish to freely be part of our global movement.
Our Promise:
Within just a short period, the buying power of our organization will be capable of
transcending geographic borders, ethnic divisions, political, religious
and governmental boundaries, to effectively sway the global economic business culture.
Our Contradictions:
Why would we allow some of the worst polluters on the planet to become members?
Thought 1: There's a saying about "keeping your friends close and your enemies closer". In reality, we don't view anyone as enemies however having a communication avenue open that we can use to appeal to those willing to listen, it's the possibilities for change and improvement is much greater.
Thought 2: It's much easier to work miracles from the inside, rather than try to crack a tough shell from the outside. Companies are made up of people and as more people adopt our simple Earth Mom values, it will become more difficult for offending companies to continue to pollute.
So please don't be upset if you see us collaborating with entities that you consider to be your arch enemies. We have a highly effective short term solution for dealing with their polluting ways unless we allow rhetoric to divert our effectiveness and smokescreens to cloud our vision.
