Green Purchase Policy: Develop, implement and insure an environmentally friendly purchase plan in used within all aspects of your workplace. Being consistently green from top to bottom will earn you added kudos when your practices are recognized and rewarded by appreciative patrons.

Greener Travel: Make a point of asking employees to research greener transportation methods and lodging choices when traveling on company business.

In Home/Office Collection Points: Specify a convenient location inside your home of office for all recyclable items to be placed until they can be properly disposed of. If the return value to you is of little concern, schedule monthly pick ups by the local scouting or youth clubs in the area.

Reward Fellow Members: Seek out personal or business relationships with others who have openly and eagerly taken this same pledge.

The Three R's: Adopt the three R’s of environmental accountability: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Trust But Verify: Double check to insure the waste you set out for recycling is actually being recycled and not being simply dumped into a landfill operation regardless of your best intentions. Involve your elected officials and district attorney whenever you see corrupt disposal of hazardous materials.
