  • Friends and Family: The act of wearing and gifting Earth Mom branded products is sufficient to bring attention to your efforts. Don't worry if those around you may not share your values or try to belittle your efforts. In the end, the decision to commit to Earth Mom's simple values has to be a free choice borne by our global citizenry who see the importance
  • Colleagues: People whom you respect and who respect your values, will be happy to learn of an easy means of helping to affect environmental change on a global scale. As the Earth Mom Icon grows and become more familiar all around the globe, her power to help change wasteful and toxic practices will strengthen.
  • Workplace: Most businesses want to be seen as doing right by the environment. An introduction to our site is typically all that is required to give your place of employment a chance to get in sync with the rest of the world. Top management at your place of employment will be appreciative when they discover the many benefits of becoming "Earth Mom" compliant and joining our "Eco-Friendly" business referral network.
  • Referral Network: One way of insuring the overall success of our organization is by patronizing others who are willing to make the same level of commitment as you. When shopping for both major and minor purchases, always investigate the products and services offered within our growing network. If you find others of interest outside our organization, introduce them to benefits of joining so that they can begin to lessen their environmental impact and begin opening their business up to scores of potential new "Eco-Friendly" clients.
  • Community: Lead by example. Organize and take part in community clean up projects. Involve members of the local media . Wear your "Proud to be An Earth Mom" branded clothing.
  • Local Shops: Do the stores you frequent display the Earth Mom decal? If not, ask for the store owner or manager's name and e-mail or send them a link to our site along with a quick note regarding the immense benefits of joining our organization. Always look to reward fellow Earth Mom members in the professional network before sharing your wealth with those who may not have the best interests of the planet at heart.
  • Business Entities: Search through the websites of local businesses for their written environmental policy. For websites without written policies, or policy links on their face page, send them a link to EarthMom.org for help in developing their policy and adding our link(s) to their set of social media icons. Follow up to explain the immense amount of benefits to both the local environment and to their bottom line by joining.
  • Policy Compliance: Now that companies everywhere are willing to put their environmental policies in writing, follow up on any environmental claims they are making to insure they are being held to task, especially in areas where more progress is clearly needed.
  • Industry: Research the local industries to identify any sources of air, water and earth pollution. Due diligence requires you double and triple check to insure your information is verified, being very careful to avoid self-serving sources such as competitors and spin doctors. Nominate the names of these polluters for inclusion to our "Usual Suspects" listing for further investigation.
  • Organizations: Seek out the thousands of local, state and national organizations of all types that would gladly embrace our ideals.
  • Associations: There are literally hundreds of different associations in your area. PTA, Boy Scouts, Rotary, Business, Community, etc. Contact their area organizers each month to introduce them to a new way of saving the planet.
  • Disposal Processing: Sweden is so efficient at processing trash that they import trash from other countries. Investigate where and how your garbage service disposes of and process your trash. Are they making the most of evolving technology? Invite competing collection companies with better track records of doing a better job of maximizing the amount recycled trash for your community. Circulate petitions to community members asking for bids from competing companies that offer documentation of their ability to do a better job.
  • Environmental Groups: Seek out passive environmental groups to join. Get involved in or organize local clean up activities. Introduce Earth Mom to fellow groups members who might appreciate our values and structure.
  • Earth Mom Hierarchy: Consider joining or heading up a local Earth Mom Groups or Chapter. Chapters are slated to meet quarterly to discuss community issues, swap information, chart progress and plan future events.
  • Local Government: Review the websites of all local, city, county, state and federal politicians for their written stance on protecting the environment. Ask each politician you know for the link to their written policy on their face page. Quiz politicians on local eye sores, chronic polluters, water quality, etc. Hold them to task on their promises to protect and clean up the environment.
A Word of Caution: Please refrain from ever attempting to spin or embellish the truth on any issue on our behalf. As our numbers grow and our organization begins to affect global commerce in positive new ways, there will be ample amounts of distortion directed our way by those resistant to change. Becoming embroiled in petty arguments or attempting to defend unsubstantiated accusations will only serve to distract your attention, dilute our message and harm our image. We can only be successful as an organization if the world gives credibility to our simple yet solemn cause. We prefer to be judged solely by the results provided by our combined, consistent adopted way of life. Simply alert our media staff as to any issues you feel we should address. Then take personal solace in knowing you are an important part of something big. Let no one lead you astray by diverting your extra attention and energy into areas unworthy of your consideration. We cannot stress this point enough.
